A. Account Information

When you register for an account, we may collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, password, and payment information (processed securely through third-party payment providers).

B. Google Search Console Data (via Google APIs)

With your explicit consent, GSCanalysis connects to your Google Search Console account via OAuth authentication. We access read-only performance and site metrics, including:

  • Clicks, impressions, CTR (click-through rate), and average positions.
  • Query, page, country, and device performance metrics.
  • Indexing status and sitemap data.

C. Google Analytics 4 Data (via Google APIs)

With your explicit consent, GSCanalysis also connects to your Google Analytics 4 properties via OAuth authentication using the analytics.readonly scope. We access read-only analytics data, including:

  • Sessions, active users, pageviews, engagement rate, and average session duration metrics.
  • Event counts, event names, key events (conversions), and per-user event rates.
  • Landing page performance including organic session growth and breakout/spike detection.
  • Channel group breakdown (Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Paid, Social, etc.).
  • Source/medium deep-dive data (e.g., google/organic, bing/organic).
  • Device category distribution (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  • Geographic distribution of visitors by country, region, and city.
  • Daily, weekly, and period-comparison trend data (MoM and YoY comparisons).
  • GA4 property names, identifiers, and associated data stream URLs for property matching.

Note on Data Retention: We do not sell, rent, or share your Google Search Console or Google Analytics data with any third parties or ad networks. Data fetched from your accounts is strictly used to generate reports, audit data, and provide SEO and analytics insights within your dashboard.

D. Log Files and Analytical Data

Like most web applications, we collect standard log data when you interact with our platform. This includes IP addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), timestamp logs, referring/exit pages, and error tracking data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to operate, maintain, and improve our services:

  • Core Functionality: Processing your Search Console and Google Analytics 4 data to deliver SEO analysis, website traffic insights, event and conversion tracking, channel performance breakdowns, geographic analytics, page-level growth detection, key metric trends with period comparisons, and actionable AI-powered recommendations.
  • Account Management: Managing subscriptions, processing transactions, and sending critical account alerts or platform updates.
  • Service Optimization: Monitoring platform performance, repairing bugs, and enhancing user experience.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

  • Security: We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest to protect your credentials and OAuth access tokens.
  • Data Retention: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Google API tokens and fetched GSC/GA4 performance data are stored securely and purged upon account termination or when you revoke access.

4. Google API Scopes and Third-Party Compliance

GSCanalysis requests the following Google OAuth scopes to provide its services:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly — Read-only access to your Google Search Console data.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly — Read-only access to your Google Analytics 4 data.

GSCanalysis complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use these scopes strictly to display analytics reports within your dashboard. No data is used for advertising, sold to third parties, or transferred outside the platform.

We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties, except:

  • As necessary to comply with applicable laws or court orders.
  • To secure cloud infrastructure providers operating under strict confidentiality contracts.

5. Your Rights and Data Control

You hold full ownership and control over your data:

  • Revoking Google Access: You can revoke GSCanalysis access at any time via your Google Security Account Settings.
  • Account Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and associated cached data at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us at [email protected].
